Introduction

International cooperation and exchange have served as pivotal drivers in advancing scientific innovation and institutional reforms within OCRI-CAAS. Over the past decade, OCRI-CAAS has forged strategic partnerships with over 40 countries and 60+ research institutes, international bodies, and multinational corporations. It has also established good cooperative relationships with research institutions in countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, the United States, France, Germany, international organizations such as ICRIST, IAEA, EU, UNDP, ACIAR, International Plant Genetic Resources Institute, as well as companies such as Bayer and Pioneer. So far, we have undertaken more than 120 collaborative research initiatives, hosted more than 70 international academic conferences, sent more than 1100 professionals for overseas exchanges, joint research, and conference participation, received more than 1400 visiting international experts, and strived for donations and funding from the Chinese government to CGIAR, leading international cooperation in the prevention and control of peanut wilt disease. The and the National Demonstration Base for Talent Introduction of Agro-food Quality and Safety were built and operated by our institute respectively, and were awarded the honorary title of "exemplary organization of Introducing Foreign Intelligence" by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. The ability for international cooperation and academic influence are constantly increasing.
