Delegation from Russia’s Ural State Agrarian University Visits OCRI
On April 26, a delegation led by Prof. Olga Neverova, Vice President of the Ural State Agrarian University of Russia, and Lada Rozhdestvenskaya, Head of the Department of Food Production Technology and Organization at Novosibirsk State Technical University, visited the Oil Crops Research Institute (OCRI), Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). The six-member delegation conducted discussions and a study visit focusing on the deep processing of oil crops, development of functional foods, quality safety and risk assessment, and joint talent cultivation.

The delegation successively visited the Pilot Processing Workshop for Oilseeds, the Key Laboratory of Oilseeds Processing, and the Quality Supervision and Testing Center for Oilseeds and Products, all under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA). They gained in-depth insights into OCRI’s representative achievements and latest progress in green processing, quality control and safety, and engaged in in-depth discussions with experts from OCRI.
The visit further strengthened communication and coordination between OCRI and Russian universities in the field of oil crop science and technology, providing a platform for future cooperation in joint research, technology transfer, and two-way talent exchange.
