Team of Rapeseed Genetics and Breeding
The research priorities of the team are genetically elucidating and gene discovering for key traits, developing efficient breeding techniques, breeding cultivars for high yield, high oil content, multiple resistances and adaptation to mechanized operation, and multi-functionally utilizing improved cultivars and related techniques in production. Since 2012, more than 40 various research projects have been carried out, from which, 39 novel cultivars were developed with a total extension of 15 million ha and over 50 papers were published. Eight research achievements were awarded including a National Second Class Prize for Technology Innovation for high oil content enhancement in 2014.
