Annual Reviewing Meeting of National Key Basic Research Program Held in Changsha

On February 26-27, the 2015 annual meeting of the National Key Basic Research Program entitled as “Molecular mechanism of high oil yield in rapeseed”led by Oil Crops Research Institute of CAAS was held in Changsha,Hunan Province. Dr Hanzhong Wang, vice-president of CAAS and leader of the project chaired the meeting. Dr.Fusheng Zeng, vice-president of Hunan Agricultural University, Dr. Jianzhong Lu, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of CAAS,and other administrative staff attended the meeting.

 

In the meeting, each sub-project leader presented corresponding research progress, existing problems and further research plan. The steering committee of the project evaluated the reports of each sub-project and made a lot of suggestions to the concerned research. Before closing of the meeting, DrHanzhong Wang summarizedthe updated achievements of the project and also stressed the key issues in implementing the project for further progress.

 

More than 60 participants from Huazhong Agricultural University, Zhejiang University, Southwest University, Yangzhou University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hunan Agricultural University, Yunnan Agricultural University, Gansu Agricultural University, Zhejiang Forestry University, Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences attended the meeting.
