Group leader, M.S. in Plant Pathology (Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, 1989). Major theme of research is on the development of new theories and application methods for disease of oilseed rape. The current research interests and activities include: (i) clubroot resistance breeding; (ii) genetics of clubroot resistance; (iii) pathotype composition of Plasmodiophora brassicae in the main production areas of oilseed rape; (iv) field control of SSR, clubroot and weeds on oilseed rape.
